I attended the course for 6 weeks, and during this time my knowledge of English—especially regarding grammar—improved exponentially. Luke, who conducts the lessons, was an excellent teacher; I particularly enjoyed his teaching style. Furthermore, I really appreciated that the classes were small, which allowed for greater participation. I highly recommend the Edinburgh School of Language.

I spent 12 weeks at Edinburgh School of Language taking the Intensive English Course and I absolutely recommend it!
Luke is a great teacher and helped me build my confidence in speaking English. The teaching style encouraged me to come out of my shell and feel more comfortable communicating in everyday situations. I went from low intermediate to B1+ in just 3 months.
I also had the chance to meet so many lovely people from all over the world who also helped me improve a lot!

I really enjoyed the courses with Luke.
At this school, you will work in small groups. Luke encourages you to push yourself further and helps you improve your English. The courses combines different workbooks. If you want to improve your speaking and listening skills you're in the right place.

I stayed seven weeks in Edinburgh taking an intensive summer English course, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
Studying with Luke during this time helped me improve my listening and speaking skills, but, above all, it gave me much more confidence in using English.
I also really enjoyed the teaching style. The classes were dynamic and encouraged us to express our opinions, discuss different perspectives, and step outside our comfort zones. This helped me develop not only my English but also my ability to improvise during conversations.
Another highlight of the course was meeting classmates from all over the world and making friends. Learning alongside people from different cultures made every class more interesting and enriched the entire experience.
Spending seven weeks there allowed me to feel like part of the community and build a daily routine, rather than just being a tourist. It truly felt like home for a while.
Thank you, Luke, for being such a great teacher and for making this journey so meaningful.

My time at Edinburgh School of English has been an amazing experience. I have improved my English skills a lot, and I feel much more confident in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. My teacher was professional, patient, supportive, and always encouraged me to do my best. The lessons were interesting, enjoyable, and well organized. One of the best parts of my experience was meeting students from all over the world, learning about different cultures, and making new friends. I would like to thank my teacher and everyone at the school for their kindness and support. I highly recommend Edinburgh School of English to anyone who wants to improve their English in a friendly and professional environment.

My experience at EDL has been very good.
I had four weeks of classes from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Professor Luke is very professional, friendly, and adapts each class to the student's level.
The pace of the class is very dynamic, alternating speaking practice with grammar exercises (in a very agile and practical way). He dedicated each beginning of the class to having each student share the day's news (politics, weather, sports, restaurants, recommended tourist attractions, etc.).
Luke is very versatile and has extensive professional experience, both as a teacher and as a current affairs journalist (specializing in Latin American conflicts).
I have enjoyed it a lot and learned a great deal. The students come from a wide variety of nationalities.
